DESIGN & SAMPLING IN FINLAND
Every piece originates in our Helsinki studio. The 0001 Logo Belt was prototyped using industrial architectural software to achieve the heavy Brutalist balance of the signature “+” buckle. Sampling runs undergo repeated stress testing to ensure the closure mechanism holds weight over prolonged daily wear.
SOURCING THE RIGHT SUPPLIERS
We do not compromise on material weight. We selected audited tanneries in Italy capable of producing thick 100% full-grain cow leather that ages naturally without cracking or peeling. All tanneries operate under EU REACH safety regulations, avoiding hazardous chrome or heavy-metal processing dyes.
PRECISION MANUFACTURING & AUDITING
Cutting heavy full-grain hide requires specialized machinery and expert hand-finishing in Guangzhou. Our production facility operates under strict SEDEX and amfori BSCI social compliance guidelines to guarantee fair wages, clean working conditions, and zero child labor. Each belt is hand-bevelled, burnished, and equipped with a unique serial ID and encrypted NFC tag before release.
