ABOUT & SUSTAINABILITY
HELSINKI STUDIO / 17.10.2026
New Blood Fashion Group Oy started in Helsinki in 2026, when a four-person collective set out to reset the direction of Nordic design. We build with clear intent, aiming to drive the conversation across Finland and the broader Nordic fashion landscape.
We operate where raw Brutalism meets sharp futurism. We stay away from mass production, keeping our output strictly focused on limited, drop-based releases.
Every line, cut, and hardware choice is grounded in architectural precision and heavy-grade materials. From custom metalwork to select leather craftsmanship, we create physical pieces meant to hold weight far beyond seasonal cycles.
Our visual identity and creative direction are led by Nordic designer Ravik.
Keeping our head designer anonymous is a deliberate rule of our brand. Removing the person behind the name strips away external noise and forces the focus onto the work—the materials, the construction, and the final piece.
- Controlled Production: We manage impact by keeping run sizes tight, prioritizing material quality, and cutting unnecessary waste.
- Social Responsibility & Partnerships: We use our platform to support equality, individuality, and environmental conservation.
- Nordic Direction: We strip back Scandinavian functionalism and retool it through a contemporary, industrial lens.
New Blood is an ongoing experiment in modern design and physical craftsmanship.
HEAVYWEIGHT MATERIAL & CRAFTSMANSHIP / 17.10.2026
At New Blood Fashion Group, design integrity goes hand in hand with how we source, build, and distribute our collections. We manufacture in limited quantities using high-density heavyweight cotton and full-grain leather—materials chosen specifically because they hold up over time rather than wearing out after a season.
We focus on heavy-grade raw materials that retain their structure and finish through long-term wear. To keep our environmental footprint down, we work closely with our production partners to reintroduce post-industrial textile waste back into our material processing streams.
Specific garments using recycled fibers and post-consumer materials are clearly indicated in their individual product descriptions, detailing exact material composition percentages so customers know precisely what goes into every piece.
Our primary manufacturing and sourcing operations are located across key international hubs: Finland, Portugal, Turkey, Italy (full-grain leather sourcing & tanning), China, and Japan.
Every facility we partner with operates under binding agreements to meet European Union safety, labor, and environmental standards, regardless of geographic location.
We require independent third-party audits to ensure fair pay, safe conditions, and an absolute zero-tolerance policy regarding child labor and forced labor. Our facilities maintain active certifications across recognized international bodies:
- amfori BSCI & SA8000: Social audit frameworks covering worker health and safety, fair compensation, and labor rights.
- SEDEX (SMETA): Supply chain monitoring covering business ethics, environmental management, and workplace safety.
- OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 & EU REACH: Testing standards ensuring all dyes, finishes, and raw textiles remain free from toxic chemicals and heavy metals.
Shipping back and forth creates unnecessary emissions. To keep our carbon footprint in check, we encourage customers to check sizing tables and product details carefully before placing an order.
To curb excessive ordering and cut down on return transit cycles, direct return shipping costs may be deducted from refunds where legally permissible. Controlled production, deliberate buying, and responsible logistics allow us to keep our operations lean, accountable, and focused on lasting quality.
